April 2026 Retreat Venue
Suniai Oliva
Our Spring 2026 retreat will take place in Oliva, between Valencia and Alicante. A 15-minute walk from the beach, the Suniai Oliva Retreat Center is nestled between majestic mountains and the tranquil sea. Our movement and yoga sessions will take place in the 135m2 yoga shala, with the lush gardens offering the opportunity for outdoor practice. In your down time, you are welcome to explore the orange orchard, walk in the mindful garden, take a dip in the 25-metre pool, or simply soak in the relaxing environment. During the retreat, we will have exclusive use of the communal areas and beautiful grounds.
The Food
Gather around nourishing buffet-style meals served twice daily, at brunch and dinner. Every dish is crafted with care and influenced by Ayurveda, Macrobiotic, and Raw Food philosophies — fresh, wholesome, and deeply satisfying.
The Ethos
Suniai is designed for deep rest and intentional living. Powered entirely by solar energy, with fresh water drawn from the on-site well, the center reflects a philosophy of simplicity, sustainability, and connection.
Your Room
Your private space to unwind: a comfortable bed with soft pillows, high-quality linens, and a fluffy down duvet. Each room includes its own bathroom with shower — a quiet retreat within the retreat.
The Yoga Shala
Our yoga and group sessions take place in a spacious 135m² shala, with heated floors and wide windows that open to sweeping views of the outdoors.
The Beach
The retreat center is a short 13-minute walk from Oliva Beach, a wide stretch of Mediterranean coastline where you can enjoy the quiet of sunrise or the colors of sunset.
Community
The retreat offers inviting communal spaces that encourage connection and ease. Share tea with a new friend, wander the orange orchard, or rest by the pool — simple moments that become part of the retreat’s experience.

Pricing & Policies
Do you have early birds?
Yes! Enjoy a 10% Early Bird discount when you reserve your place by December 10th, 2025.
Do you offer group discounts if I bring a friend or partner?
Yes! When you book together with a friend or partner, you’ll each receive €200 off your retreat fee.
What's your refund policy?
To reserve your place, a €500 deposit is required. This deposit becomes non-refundable once your enrolment is confirmed after the discovery call.
If you need to cancel:
More than 60 days before the retreat → You’ll receive a refund of all payments made, minus the deposit.
30–59 days before the retreat → You’ll receive a 50% refund of the total retreat fee.
Less than 30 days before the retreat → Unfortunately, no refund can be offered.
If you cannot attend, you may request to transfer your spot to another person (subject to approval and availability).
If Project Pause Retreats must cancel, you’ll receive a full refund of all retreat fees paid, including your deposit.
We recommend comprehensive travel insurance for additional protection.
Food & Catering
What are the meals like?
All of our meals are plant-based and prepared by private chefs using fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced locally. Each dish is designed to be nourishing, flavorful, and energizing — food that supports both body and spirit throughout your retreat.
Are drinks (coffee, juice, etc.) included?
Yes! Tea, coffee, herbal infusions, and fresh fruit are available throughout the day. Fresh juices are also provided with meals. Please note that, to support the restorative nature of the retreat, no alcoholic beverages are served.
Can you accommodate dietary needs?
Yes. Our meals are thoughtfully prepared to be inclusive and nourishing. We’re able to accommodate gluten-free, nut-free, and other dietary needs — simply let us know when you book, and we’ll take care of the rest.

How do I get to the venue?
The retreat takes place in Oliva, Spain, nestled between Valencia and Alicante. Once your place is confirmed, we’ll share detailed travel instructions to make your journey smooth and simple. The nearest airports are Valencia (VLC) and Alicante (ALC).
How are shared rooms assigned?
If you’re joining with a friend, let us know and we’ll do our best to place you together, depending on availability. If you’re traveling solo, we’ll pair you with another guest to create a comfortable and supportive shared space.
What makes the venue special?
Between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, Suniai Oliva offers more than a venue — it’s a sanctuary. Just 13 minutes from the beach, the center holds space for up to 30 guests, creating community without losing intimacy.
Each room is ensuite, blending Spanish and Nordic touches to ensure comfort and rest. Whether you choose a shared or private sanctuary, every detail is designed to help you feel at ease.
The 135 m² yoga shala is fully equipped with mats, props, and sound, opening to gardens and orchards so practice can flow indoors or under the open sky. In between sessions, you might wander through the orange grove, find a quiet corner in the garden, or swim in the 25-metre pool.
Meals are freshly prepared on site by private chefs. Plant-based and seasonal, with gluten-free options always available, each dish is crafted to be nourishing, energizing, and deeply satisfying.
Suniai Oliva is more than a backdrop for this retreat — it’s part of the experience, inviting you to rest, reflect, and reconnect.
General
What should I pack for the retreat?
You’ll receive a detailed packing list once your booking is confirmed. In general, we recommend bringing comfortable yoga clothing, swimwear, sun protection, a reusable water bottle, and any personal essentials. Yoga mats and props will be provided at the venue.
Are there any rules?
Yes. Suniai Oliva is an alcohol-, tobacco-, and drug-free sanctuary. We ask that guests respect the peaceful environment, join activities mindfully, and be considerate of others.
Can I come to the retreat as a yoga beginner?
Absolutely. Our retreats are open to all levels — from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. Every session is guided with options and modifications, so you can practice at your own pace and feel fully supported throughout.
